The final Matsuri festival up at Ebisu circuit has just finished up. This being the third and final open track event for 2009 at Ebisu and quite possibly the best in terms of turn out.
For this outing the tried and true S14 Silvia Q was driven up. Silvia had just seen a handful of updates. Including a complete matte semi gloss finish. For power updates, the Silvia just had a proper 60mm 5 Zigen 304 Speed exhaust system fitted & a re-mapped Mine's VX-Rom ecu. Final response results are more than was expected. Car has a whole new power curve thankfully.
For detailed photos of the event, see the attached in this news update along with the regular forums we follow.
Speak thanks goes out to:

Since supplying this limited production Yamaha SPL edition Toyota Mark II 2.5 GT, the new owner has been adding several upgrades in the foot work department. Specific updates have included a NOS set of Kei Office coilover suspension, newer bushings, support bars, brake tweaking and finally the ultra lightweight Regamaster forged wheels.
The new owner, Mr. E Webber finally set this machine loose on June 2nd 2009 at Mission Raceway Park in B.C., Canada. This was a planned track day event organized by the University Of British Columbia, motor sports club. On hand were several top end performing street cars. Including one R35 GT-R, several FD RX-7's, a well known BNR32 and many more.
Several photos from this event and more will be added as they come in, video included. Thanks again Eric for the first shakedown.
Feast Auto Group visited Ebisu Circuit on May 2&3rd for the by bi-annual Matsuri Festival. This was a two day venue with non stop racing auction for a solid 48 hours.
Two vehicles were brought up for this event. First vehicle, a 1992 Subaru Impreza WRX. Solely used for grip action on the Higashi circuit and on the ever aggressive night touge course. Our test mule handled both courses very well and is another standing testament of proof that affordable GC8's are one of the best bang for the buck vehicles around.
The second vehicle, a 1993 Nissan Skyline Type M. Our driver is a new comer to the drift scene and showed excellent strides forward through out the weekend. He managed well all weekend on the technical D1 pro course and later several runs on the Nishi course. Unfortunately a lack of spare tires closed the weekend early. Better luck next time!
Special thanks goes out to Dino Dalle Carbonare for his incredible photography work, Adam Z our rookie drift driver, CIA James for the BBQ Feast, Peter Horniak from 7Tune and finally Iwata-san from K's Style Car Factory.
